MadMapper & REACTIVO pixel controller
MadMapper is a popular software used for variety of applications. It is user friendly and contains a ton of pre-programmed effects that can be further tweaked and create an awesome content for your digital pixel LEDs.
Reactivo is our smallest LED controller that works over Art-net. It is unique device that allows for up to 1024RGB pixels driven by software, Android&iOS app and also allows to connect various external triggers.
Art-net and Universes #
The most important note in regards to the combination of Reactivo and MadMapper is the fact that the controller is working with Art-net. This is DMX over Ethernet and it was designed some time ago to replace the older protocol. It is great, however it might get confusing from time to time. Counting universes and channels aside, it is important to note that in our devices, we are using, as a starting universe, Universe 1. MadMapper, on the other hand, starts with Universe 0.
