UCS1903 Pros

  • The pixel protocol has a maximum voltage of 12V, enabling use with longer cables

UCS1903 Cons

  • The low PWM rate makes these pixels not suitable for use with cameras
  • Refresh rates are limited by the speed of the data-only protocol, which may be slower
  • Each color has only 8 bits of data, leading to less smooth dimming curves
