Installation Advantages

Built for plug-and-play deployment, PSL2 reduces wiring, hardware, and install time—ideal for rentals, studios, and permanent installations.

Power short runs directly

For typical 5m pixel strips, the controller can often supply power directly—no separate injection wiring needed.

Fewer cables. Cleaner installs.

Eliminate extra power supplies and custom cabling. Reduce clutter and failure points.

Faster installs, less labor.

When labor costs outweigh hardware, faster installs and easier maintenance make a real difference.

FAQ

PSL2 integrates a 100W power supply that plugs directly into a standard AC outlet (86–264 VAC).
It comes in three factory variants: 5VDC/10A, 12VDC/5A, and 24VDC/2.5A.
Check the label on top of your device to confirm your model.

A single unit controls up to 1,024 RGB pixels or 768 RGBW pixels per output. The number you can power directly depends on the 100W internal limit—for example, the 12V variant powers roughly 6.9 meters of WS2815 strip. For longer runs, the controller acts as a signal generator while you add external power to the strips.

Art-Net/sACN software: Madrix, MadMapper, Resolume, ChamSys

Lighting consoles: grandMA and any standard DMX512 source

Mobile: LSS Remote app for iOS and Android

The built-in 2.4GHz Wi-Fi operates in two modes:

  • Access Point (AP) mode — default; creates its own network at 192.168.4.1 for direct phone or laptop control
  • Client mode — joins an existing network via WPS pairing to receive wireless Art-Net or sACN data

Over 80 industry-standard SPI protocols, including TM1809, TM1804, WS2811, WS2812B, WS2815, SK6812, APA102, APA104, and more.

Yes. Standalone and Autoplay modes use a Micro SD card (FAT32, up to 32GB). Store up to 32 animation files in a playlist, set them to loop or shuffle, and trigger specific scenes via external sensors or buttons connected to the trigger inputs.

The rugged aluminum enclosure (IP30, 150.6 × 48.1 × 85.2 mm) includes integrated side tabs for mounting via screws, cable ties, clamps, or safety wires. It’s compact enough to conceal in stage scenery or tight spaces.

LED Strip Studio provides 2–5 years of warranty on professional hardware, refined over 14+ years of real-world club and stage installations.

It eliminates external power bricks and complex DC wiring, reducing connection failure points and cleaning up your rack. Think of it as a “show in a box”—ideal for rental projects and fast setups where reliability is critical.
