Home Menu


The Home menu contains the most important functions of LSS4. It is divided into multiple sections, each serving a different purpose.

Clipboard

Function Explanation
Cut scene Remove the selected scene from the bank and store it in clipboard.
Copy scene Copy the selected scene to the clipboard.
Paste scene Paste the scene from the clipboard before the selected scene, or at the end of the selected bank if no scene is selected.


Banks

Function Explanation
Add bank Add a new bank to the workspace.
Rename bank Rename the selected bank.
Remove bank Remove the selected bank from the workspace.


Scenes

Function Explanation
Add strip scene Add a new scene of type Strip.
Add video scene Add a new scene of type Video.
Add multi scene Add a multi-scene that allows combining Strip and Video scenes.
Remove scene Remove the selected scene from the workspace.
Edit scene Edit the selected scene. You can also click the yellow pencil icon on the scene in the banks.


Shows

Function Explanation
Add show Add a new show to the workspace.
Rename show Rename the selected show.
Remove show Remove the selected show from the workspace.


Strips

Contains a single function called Mapping, which opens a window where you can create the mapping for your installation.


Settings

Function Explanation
Controls Configure the software to work with different control options such as MIDI, Keyboard, or Art-Net. Adjust settings for each external control type here.
Startup commands Define commands that are executed when the workspace is opened, such as automatically playing a specific scene.
Workspace settings Settings specific to the current workspace, stored in the .ls4 file.
Software settings Global software settings that apply to all workspaces.
SPI LED settings Create a configuration file for SPI LED devices.
