Fade Christmas Lights From a DMX Console
Move a fader and the Xmas Dimmer fades its light string in real time. Eight outputs, sixteen DMX channels: on every string the first channel dims the odd bulbs, the second the even bulbs.

Two faders per output: the 1st dims the odd bulbs, the 2nd the even bulbs. One DMX cable carries it all.

Listens to 16 DMX channels from its DIP address: 8 outputs × 2 channels. More dimmers share the same cable.
- 3Light strings
Odd bulbs 1, 3, 5 … and even bulbs 2, 4, 6 … fade on their own channels, each group independently.
Every output has two faders: the 1st dims the odd bulbs (1, 3, 5 …), the 2nd the even bulbs (2, 4, 6 …). Each fader only dims its own bulbs, so the two groups can glow at different levels. Hold Flash for full brightness on both. Scenes fade over the fade time. Demo modes play on top of your faders; switch one off and your faders come back.
