Pixel LED mapping software that your whole crew can drive. LED Strip Studio 4 creates a large array of colorful effects for pixel (digital) and analog LED strips. This Art-Net license lets it control any Art-Net hardware. Add your client’s background photo and preview the whole project before you install a single strip.

Mapping an object takes minutes. Advanced mapping tools build circles, grids and more complex LED shapes. Vector-style tools draw curved segments with an exact pixel count per segment.
Scenes come from video layers, generated effects and live screen capture from Resolume Arena or MadMapper. Stack them with alpha transparency. Then arrange everything on a music-synchronised timeline with unlimited show tracks. Events fire with millisecond accuracy, and MIDI MTC sync keeps your show in time.
Built for large installations and for DIY projects
We designed the software for large projects, but it works just as well for smaller DIY LED installations. Our clients use it to control installations with 100,000 and more individual RGB or RGBW pixels.
LED Strip Studio 4 runs 200,000+ RGB pixels smoothly on Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit). It also runs natively on macOS with Apple Silicon. It supports more than 80 addressable chip types from the APA, WS and TM families. See the full list in our overview of supported LED IC types.
Which controllers work with this pixel LED mapping software?
LSS4 works with LSS controllers and with all third-party Art-Net LED pixel controllers. You can also use it for free to create content for SPI LED and SPI Matrix devices. Our wiki explains which controller you can use with LED Strip Studio.
Our LED Ethernet Controller 3 and LEC3 Powered already include a lifetime license for their own mapping. Choose this Art-Net license when you drive third-party hardware.
What does the Art-Net license include?
- Any number of Art-Net universes for your project, with 170 RGB pixels per universe
- A 1-year or a 5-year license
- Add more universes to your activation key later, as your installation grows
- Manage keys and renewals in your My Account page
- Activation needs an internet connection
